Tattos in Your Nation

Postby Kalaspia-Shimarata » Wed Jun 22, 2011 1:26 am

In your nation, what is the age where you can legally get a tatoo in your fantastic nation? In our nation, you may get a tatoo from age 12 with parental consent, but when you are 16, then you are an adult, therefore, your parents can't tell you whether or not you are allowed to get inkedq

Kalaspia-Shimarata's flag represents the Union between K&S. The dark blue represents the sea and the light blue represents the sky. In Kalashi language considers light blue and dark blue to be different colours. England colonised, and unified K&S, between 1774 and 1953, and English, light blue and dark blue are considered to be the same colour. Therefore, the contrast between dark blue and light blue represents the union, but the differences between K&S where as blue being two but simultaneously one colour represents K&S being two, but simultaniously one entity. The opposite to the symmetry represents the unity and indipendance of K&S, whilst also representing the Kalashi culture of opposite symmetry.KS is 75% Christian, hence the cross.

There is no law that decides when you are legally allowed to get a tattoo.
But in Gutia the recommended age is 18, again not a law but recommendations from GRT (Gutias registered tattoo-artist organisation)
If someone wants a tattoo under the age of 18 they need to bring their mom or dad with them.

Tattoos in Ruskarkand are banned.
Nothing is wrong with them, it's just that you can't tattoo scales all that well, thus it is deemed pointless to do by the government, and appropriately outlawed for the safety of the Civilians.

As a way of identifying escaped citizens, every citizen gets a tattoo like this at the age of 15. Women get it on their left hip. Other tattoos are banned though, as succumbing to such light-hearted foolishness is not considered to be befit our proud hard-working people.

"The worst outcrop of herd life is the military system, which I abhor. That a man can take pleasure in marching in fours to the strains of a band is enough to make me despise him. He has only been given his big brain by mistake; unprotected spinal marrow was all he needed. This plague-spot of civilization ought to be abolished with all possible speed. Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism - how passionately I hate them! How vile and despicable war seems to me! I would rather be hacked in pieces than take part in such an abominable business." -Albert Einstein

Tattoos are some of the most common identifying marks in Sciox with an estimated 95-98% of the populace having one. Designs range from religious symbols, modern versions of the old tribe and city seals and custom ones designed by there wearer. Most criminals are identified and arrested in our nation because of their tattoos although other evidence, such as fingerprints and DNA are still the staple evidence for securing convictions.

So he did what any person would do when confronted with a bear in the middle of an international meeting; he tried to shoot him.

Lucky for all of us, Karakov is a lousy shot.

They are legal for any age, but culturally frowned upon. Tattoos were associated with major criminal organisations, which practically ruled the country before the crackdown on them. Even with them all gone, the taboo remains.

Even before the criminals became powerful, tattooing was considered a low form of self expression, much like wearing a clothing or having hair to draw attention to yourself. We think people should be outstanding in their brains, not on their bodies.
Wait an hour, and it will be now again

They are legal for people over the age of 25. However, they are generally frowned upon and discrimination against people with tattoos is extremely common.

Tattoos are legal for all age, but you wont get it provided you want to be in society. In one of recent survey, over 80% of employers said that they will not employ someone with tattoo under any conditions and over 85% of people said that they cant trust someone with tattoo.

You can get a tattoo whenever you want to, just as long as you expect that people will think you are a drunk sailor or a bandit of some sort.

In Morskova the age of adulthood (The Age when you are allowed to drive/consent to sex/drink/ conscripted into the military / ect) is 14. Younger then that and no one has tattos unless consent is given by the parent or guardian.

The most common tattoo is a hammer and sickle with the DRM's star being a second favorite. It is mainly wore by the youth and when asked why they chose these image the most common response was "National Pride"

This. Having said that, tattoos are not at all popular, and body art generally is seen as quite silly.

16 is the minimum without parental consent. 14 is the absolute lower limit.

Oddly enough, former Chancellor Victoria Martin got her first tattoo at the age of 15. Yes, her parents consented. At the time that she got one, she was a teenage male, not having begun her gender transformation yet. It was back when she was in denial of her true sex, so she went with a fairly macho trident on her left forearm, a design that she liked so much that there are now 24 other tridents located all over her body, including one right above her tailbone.

President Kerry O' Bannon has 75 tattoos, sometimes in very private parts. But, then again, she always had a wild side, growing up. She got her first at the age of 14. It was a crescent moon.

In Zttiraza tattoo shops and workers have to meet high requirements to avoid the spread of STDs. Because of this, anyone of any age is allowed to get a tattoo. However, it's recommended that one wait until around the age of eighteen and many citizens of all ages just get mehndi. Tattoos are an integral part of the traditional culture of Zttiraza, performing spiritual, religious, and ethnic background information; one can even learn the history of a person's ancestral people if they are well-versed in reading the traditional styles of Zttiraza tattoos.

Tatto's are currently illegal in the Federal Republic. They are seen as a danger to public health and stability.

Tattoos are allowed anytime with the informed consent of the person receiving it, however are almost unheard of.

Tattoo parlors are regulated to ensure safety as well, yet only three exist in Vermont.
