Here is the Office of the Cardinal Archnuncio, the highest papal diplomatic authority aside from the Pope himself. Here is where you may apply for the dispatch of a Papal representative to your nation. The Vatican uses a different classification system for its diplomatic representatives. Nuncios are full ambassadors of the highest class. They represent the Apostolic See and Papal Vatican States not only to the government but to the faithful of the country also. Require full diplomatic immunity.
Legates are ambassadors to those nations who, like the Papal Vatican States, have the head of a Christian Church as their head. They are otherwise exactly like Nuncios. Require full diplomatic immunity.
Internuncios are lesser ranking nuncios. In countries of lesser importance have the rank of ambassador. In large and important countries hold that of consuls. Good replacement for Nuncios for those who wish to have minimal official diplomatic ties to the Papal Vatican States.
Delegates are considered to be in all nations with faithful. They represent the Apostolic See from a purely faith basis to the faithful of your nation.
Requirements, Rules, and Regs
We require mutual diplomatic immunity for our staff, we will provide ot for yours. Also, we also ask that this immunity extends so that no malicious actions (police raids, military action, etc.) be made against our nunciature without prior permissions. We also will extend this to you.
You Embassy will not be too big and will be placed in an already built office building. All ambassadors will have a priority access phone line to the Papal office and will be able to set up short notice meetings with the Pope in emergencies.
We restrict your staff size to 50 diplomatic, 60 support, and 15 security.
Security may only carry light weapons (handguns and blade weapons)
Military will only be accepted as security if in ceremonial/formal/semi-formal dress at all times and use proper ID.
Cars, helicopters, small places only. Aircraft will be stationed in Papal Airfields outside the city and may not fly over Roma at anytime.
