Greater Dienstad versus Haven? [Match 2]

This poll will last 24 Hours.

Greater Dienstad vs Haven

Which do you prefer more? Which would you rather be RPing with? Who do you enjoy as a community? Which is your more favourite region? Questions to consider as ultimately which region do you prefer?

This is the second match of the 2011 RPing Showdown.

Greater Dienstad is a strong, traditional RPing region with a great emphasis on its open community and powerful foundational players. With notable players such as Lamoni, The Macabees and Lyras, Greater Dienstad carries significant weight in the current climate, especially in GE&T.

Haven is one of the older RPing regions, unique for its lack of a founder, highly exclusive membership tier, strong solidarity and high-quality emphasis. While carrying a slightly spotty history in terms of activity in the recent years, Havenites regardless carry strong weight still in many aspects and the name still commands great respect with notable RPers such as Questers, Vault 1 and Praetonia and projects such as lineartinc.

Which region do you prefer? Why? Discuss and Vote for the 2011 Regional Competition. Please, let's keep any massive chest-thumping to a minimum. Or war cheers. I have sensitive hearing.

Anagonia-Yohannes says : "Greater Dienstad"

The presence of our honourable ally Lamoni, speaks for the reason behind our vote itself.

Greater Dienstad. Why? Lamoni and Lyras are pretty cool and gave me a ton of help with my missile design. :p

EDIT: Not to say that a few members of Haven did not help me out a ton with the missile as well.

This is the second match of the 2011 RPing Showdown.

Greater Dienstad is a strong, traditional RPing region with a great emphasis on its open community, powerful foundational players and heavy link to draftroom and lineartinc. With notable players such as Lamoni, The Macabees and Lyras, Greater Dienstad carries significant weight in the current climate, especially in GE&T.

btw jenrak I actually founded lineartinc so I think that should rly go to Haven, plus all the admins and old-time members are Havenites, so... in general GDers dont tend to draw as much. Almost all Havenic designers end up with a lineart, which idt is true for GD.

Ah, alright. I've edited it to Haven, then. My apologies.

This is a really tough one. Both are very old, very good RP regions. Still, Haven is a bit too far on the inactive side. And I've gotta give props to Macabees, who let me join IADF III as a two-post n00b and thus getting me into this game all those years ago. My vote:

Greater Dienstad!

My vote goes to whoever is less insular. The balkanization of RPing is one of the worst things to have ever happened to II.

P.S. Why do you always do this stupid signature thing? EVERYONE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE.

P.P.S. Greater Dienstad.

P.P.P.S. Holy crap, this vote has 103 already, in a night. Ours got a little over this number in 24 hours.

Dead tie so far at 50% - 50%

Interesting concept Jen, I'm annoyed that I missed out on the first round.

54 to 54 after my vote for Haven.

-----

This seems to be far more high-profile than the first match. The regions certainly carry more famous players compared to...those other two.

I'm personally thinking that the winner of this whole competition will be whoever wins this second match.

Pfft.

I used to be part of Haven, now I'm in GD. There's no contest, really, simply because both regions are filled with brilliant people and RPers. Comparing two radically different regions is a little bit of a fruitless endeavour.
