Sure, we may know your nations ruler -now-, but how about in the past? Who were ruled your nation in the past?

Emperors of Urcea

*Self-proclaimed Emperor during "First Separation Period". Abdicated once contact with Rome was reestablished.
** Second and final seperation with Rome. "Provincial Empire" established, in hope of one day reestablishing contact with Rome.
***Widely regarded in the Kingdoms that followed after Urcean divisions as pretenders, but most (see exceptions) acknowledged by the recent monarchy.
****War of the Barbarian Succession - a civil war between Urceo-Latin Christians and Barbarian Immigrants. The throne remained empty for over thirty years.
*****Part of the "Tiberian Throne", blood-line successors of Tiberius the Urceopolitan, who they regarded to be the legitimate Emperor, even after abdication.
******Charles VII, King of Rexheim, one of the nations resulting in the split of the Empire, actually did control a large majority of Urcean territory, even naming his land the "Kingdom of Urceo-Rexheim, and moving his capitol to Urceopolis. Historians dispute whether he is another claimant or this Kingdom constituted a "Second Empire". Emperor Julius VI acknowledged his legitimate claim to the throne.
*******Julius Phillipus IV actually ruled as the King of the United Kingdoms of Urcea (a loose confederation of the successor states of the First Urcean Empire) from 980-993 A.D. He was killed in battle during the War of the Canaerian Secession. The United Kingdoms was broken up and Julius Phillipus IV's descendants were forced, under the pain of death, to renounce any claim to the throne. After Charles VII's death and the restoration of the borders before his reign, the Imperial bloodline began to claim the throne once again.

Both of them were chronologically immortal (meaning that they don't age, but can die from "unnatural" causes). Olwe was killed in battle, and the nation was renamed in his honor. In 1,800 C.R. it was refounded as New Olwe, with Jason returning to rulership.

We used to have a kind of cyberpunk-esque thing going on. Nobody knew who the leader was though, he was just referred to as "the government". We had a Communist revolution and now the people collectively rule. So no rulers, unless we can somehow get a picture with every citizen in it.
