It's not that I think curved sabres are better than the 1908. It's that I think most sabres are better than the 1908.

It doesn't really matter either way.

Swords have been obsolete since 1886.

well mine is more the 1913, but that is the same really, is it not? also how come Patton went to France to learn how to sword and ended up making a sword so similar to the British one?(trying to salvage some learning from this).

Artillery is the best anti-zombie weapon.

: ^ )

From what I remember of the book, Yonkers was NS-tier hordewanking.

Artillery vs zombies equals zombies with missing limbs and still moving to kill you

I prefer to subscribe to the slightly more realistic form of zombies that still require their organs to function.
Ergo, small arms fire, artillery and incendiaries all work beautifully.

Tbh artillery would work fine even with the suggested zombies of WWZ and TZSG fame. The pressure of a detonating 155mm HE/ APERS would be sufficient for the most part to cause significant cranial damage via heamoraging that the brain would likely liquify; at the least it would cause a severance of the spinal cord (especially in the C1-C8 area) which would prevent neurological communication from the brain, which would turn it into basically a useless head.

Which is then used for a rousing game of head-football.

But that's highly unrealistic of what a zombie is: a reanimated corpse that feeds on the living.

Would swords like This be realistic for a nation set in the late 2190s to early 2200's? 30% of our soldiers wear suits similar to the Infinite Stratos (except with more armour) or standard mech suits, which is what these swords are for
And it's just for a few divisions, specifically City Guards.
