When the founders of our nation were looking for a land to settle, they found a river with an abundancy of fish, we named our river Rio Brasilano for the red coloration of the river.

The first of the name: "Tusk" is named after our greatest leader: King Tusk Chekov. The second part: "amo" is there to sound like the end of "Eskimo". In fact, the Native Tuskamocans and the people Tuskamocans can trace from are Eskimos, who roamed around Tuskamo before it was established.

Same with the RP reason, but I will explain how I made up King Tusk Chekov's name. "Tusk" came from a supporting character in a story a wrote for fun: Tusk Dawne. But, the story was later scrapped. "Chekov" came from a character from Star Trek: Pavel Chekov.

"Polis," means "society characterised by strong community feeling," and a syndicate is a self-managed productive enterprise. After our Communist Revolution, we renamed the nation to show our collectivism and commitment to proletarian self-management.

Well, the word wyrd has to do with fate. And a world is a place.
Wyrdworld is a place where fate is malleable, like all other forces. Fate, Entropy, Time. All of these are malleable. The name has to do with that.
Also, wyrd sounds like weird. And the world is also weird
