This party's gotten pretty quiet as of late. Come on guys, let's get to work.

I'm opening nominations for the Party Central Committee Elections on May Day. I'll accept nominations until April 20th at which time the nominations will close. On May 1st at 16:30 Eastern Standard Time (22:30 Central European Time); Elections will open. They will close on May 3rd at 00:00 Eastern Standard Time (06:00 Central European Time). Go ahead and start nominating yourself.

Chief Whip, please inform all party members that nominations are open if they wish to be elected as a member of the Central Committee. Please note that this does not include the Office of Chairman which will not elect again until July 1st, 2014.

Thank you,
Friedrich Wilhelm von Hohenzollern
Party Chairman

Oneracon, Pesda and myself (Unicario) are the only people on the CC as of right now. Elections are open for all positions except Chairman. If you wish to take an office, please nominate yourself.

I guess I should go for external relations, the party is hardly in need of such an officer to cement ties with the PC but having such in the opposing camp would be beneficial if cooperation is ever needed or desired by the party or chair.

You have to specify which one, mate.

I would say ERC, but being Minister of Energy, I am not sure I would have time to do it. I guess I don't want a spot on the Committee then.

I'll get to that soon then. In the mean time, I wish to stand for Chief Whip again, though I'll add, I can't be as diligent as I would like to be during May and early June, because of exams.

It's alright, neither can I. We'll just have to stay on top of things. ;)

Please, please reconsider. It would be ideal if you had the time to do both jobs, but don't worry about it. Having an less active member of the CC is better than having a vacant position.

Ok, I believe I will be returning from my indefinite leave of absence soon. In the meantime, I'll try and churn out some stories for Vox Populi.

Well you should inform them that we're taking precautions to ensure another November 23 never happens again. >_>

Well if anyone else, who was here for that, would like to write an article on the topic... I would bake you cookies

It's true, 5 years ago proposing a civil union bill of any kind (let alone this one that is marriage in all but name) would have been political suicide. Attitudes are changing and more Maltese, especially the young, are not allowing the Church to be the sole guide to morality.

Are they actually changing religions or becoming atheists?
