Background: Born into a working class background in Harstelvoor and he would often be forced to go several days without food as his family tried to avoid being turfed out onto the street. Despite this he managed to get a reasonable education before going on to study economics at university in Eswelle. After this he at first suceeded in finding employment with a job at a local accounting firm, however when a recession set in he was given the sack. After this he decided to investigate what it was like to be homeless and from the ages of 24-31 he toured around the country without a plan or money. Eventually he wrote a book on his time as a homeless man and it ended up inspiring him to try and sort out the problem of homelessness in Harstelvoor. As a result he broke into local politics, serving on the city council where he managed to reduce homelessness in the city by 35%. Eventually he was persuaded to be the Red-Green party candidate for a senate seat in the area and he managed to win a comfortable victory with a sturdy local and national campaign aged 38. At his next election he managed to once again hold onto his seat without much opposition. Since then he has left the Red-Green Party to form his own party (The Grand Obstructionist Party); this move was considered unpopular among the locals and his approval rating has fallen to 31% since the move. He is up for re-election next year and many believe that he will struggle to hold onto the seat.

Born and raised in Grünfels to Ilya Borodin a Russian immigrant originally from Saint Petersburg and Michaela Borodin (nee Jones) who is of Welsh descent. After graduating high school, Borodin studied at the University of Leishaagen where he obtained a degree in Politics and Economics graduating with a 2:1. He then spent two years working for a mid-sized shipping company, but dissatisfied with his job and future prospects, Borodin took a year off to study and redo some exams and then went on to MIT where he got a Masters in Chemical Engineering, specializing in Nanotechnology, graduating magna cum laude. While working for the ESA, he met his future wife, Selina Borodin (nee Atuma), who was also working at the ESA as an astrophysicist. Involved with local charities and community groups, which helped shape his political views, Borodin became involved in local politics. At 38, he ran successfully as a local councilor, standing as a member for the Totally Rad Party while still maintaining his position at the ESA. While at a technology conference, he met Martin Divair and forged a friendship with him. Both agreeing that their wasn't enough pro-technology representation in Aurentinian politics, they decided to form the Common Sense Party, alongside Senator Arglorand. In 2013 he successfully become the Senator for his hometown of Grünfels. Later on it was decided that the CSP's interests were best served in the Totally Rad party which the CSP then merged into.

As the CEO of Flëessalm Shipping corporation he has obtained massive amounts of wealth in recent years, and has grown to the point where almost 10 large freighters are under his control, capable of transporting massive amounts of material, including Flëessalm wines and beers, throughout the country.

Important Senate Contributions: Senator Marcus advocated strongly for fiscal responsibility, a strong military, and gun rights. He participated actively and gave millions of dollars to causes such as the prevention of aides, a gay pride memorial, and devoted much time to making the country better. He helped write parts of multiple bills, including but not limited to the second constitution, the national drug saftey act, the minimum wage act, and additionally supported and help push through many bills which benefited the nation grately.

In his last days he became bold in his defiance of the Mafia, afterall he was well armed and had good protection, why should he fear them? He dared the mafia to make a move on them, and on July 10th, at around 10:00 PM GMT a large mafia hitsquad attacked, and murdered the defiant senator, who before going out took out several mobsters and put up a valiant fight. His last words were "I die fullfilled... bastards".
