Psychosis is a bitch to live with. The other day I went to see my grandmother in the hospital and while we were there the voices started telling me I should jump out the window. I have to say I was definitely tempted.

I feel for you. Actually, I've thought about jumping through windows a lot of times before. Not because of psychosis, but because I've just been so tired of all the stress. I guess it's maybe like that. Well, not really. I just wish you good luck.

The only voice that tells me to kill myself is my own. And I also tell myself not to so I counteract it.

But mine are like little people inside my head telling me all this crazy shit. I didn't take my medicine for months because the voices told me it was poisonous.

Mine only arise after I've taken some heavy drugs, and they generally sound different. Like my own voice if you distorted it.

Yeah, I probably won't. The psychiatrist told me I should get institutionalized if I ever get to that, but I rarely think there's anything wrong with me at those times. Plus I'm always isolating myself from people because I only freak them out when I get like that, so I've got no connections keeping their eyes on me.

I doubt it, I've had a one of what I thought was a near-death experience, and so did a friend of mine, both of us spoke of a sense of extreme relief, nearly ecstasy. I guess neither of us actually died, but it seemed credible to us both (hospitalization was required in both cases).
