I stupidly wore sneakers .Ice isn't bad on it's own unless you fall face first in it. It's really the slush that's a medical hazard.

The problem with slush and ice is that when it rains it melts downhill and freezes. That's also the awesome thing, if you happen to live near a giant hill and own a sled or taboggin.

I don't slip in anything, but I like my bean boots. I have strangely good balance considering how terrible my other motor functions are.
