It's taken me five days to realise why she's mad at me and why I hurt her so much.

For all the times I listened, and all the times I said that I always would... When she needed me to listen the most, I was so focused on what I wanted that I didn't give her thoughts or feelings a bit of attention. I was being a selfish dick, and I had my head so far up my ass that I didn't even think twice about it. She wanted time to herself. That's all she wanted. I ended up doing exactly what I said I'd never do.

I really need to apologise to her. Hugely.

Try not to drink yourself to death if she doesn't, okay? Just remember, you learned a lesson from this and you know not to repeat the behaviour that caused it. Being sad is okay. Going off the deep end is reason to be very worried.

All of my plans tanked that week. It wasn't because of one thing or another. Everything compounded and fucked up my mind.

And when I watch this, I can never quite hold it in. I know she always cared immensely about me. She was never dishonest, even when I was afraid she was. She never hid anything from me. And then, I turned around and acted the way I did last week. If I could, I'd kick my own ass. But, I'd rather her do it for me. She has reason to.
