Ok well you should probably be aware that "traitors to the state" is the same thing as "people who disagree with the ruling elite." Furthermore, purging people with 'undesirable' political beliefs won't rid you of those beliefs - it will simply drive them underground and foster violence and unrest.

Other way round. Communism has been humanity's modus operandi for tens of thousands of years. The earliest possible opportunity for organised capitalism occurred after the formation of large, sedentary, agricultural settlements, which began appearing around 10,000 years ago. Even with the very optimistic assumption that we've been using capitalism for as long as physically possible, communism outlasts it four times over.

True, but it's still crazy.

Except that capitalism worked for a couple more millenniums then Communism.

It hasn't really been around that long.

Capitalism hasn't been around that long, IIRC.

Actually they did love me and I must say my dad is very proud of me because I am a communist at heart I don't know why but he keeps telling me that I am a anarcho communist

Duh. People that aren't just like me. Ergo, they aren't perfect.
Sorry for the double post.

Except that Communism was never applied right.

Not if you're a Stalinist, you don't. If an unaccountable government has access to powers like that, they will inevitably be abused by the individuals of that government. If you really like Stalinism you'll have to get used to corruption like that.

Depends. Certain ancient cultures had aspects of it.

Actually the best way to make the people want to kill someone is to charge him that he is a spy

I have no doubt that accused spies would be put to death pretty quickly in a reincarnated USSR. A lot of innocent people would die as well, though.

Because they have a nostalgic view of him. It's not based on reality.

*SIGH*

Please stop making Pro-Staliners look bad. Stalinism isn't a tenancy of Communism, it's a derogatory term agaisnt Marxist-Leninists that ultra-leftists and trots made and use.

I can help you be taken seriously by everyone else if you'd just stop talking about things you have little knowledge of, comrade. As Mao said: "No investigation, no right to speak!"

The poll you're thinking of showed that just under 70% of Russians wanted the return of the Soviet Union. In reality, the number who want Stalin back is about 15%.

Yes, I'm sure.

Stalin sent millions to gulags for petty crimes. Some of them for being dissidents. For making a joke about the government or for writing a book he did not agree with. Millions more died. Only an idiot would want to return to that totalitarian hellhole.

If Stalin's so popular in Russia, explain why the KPRF (the only major pro-Stalin party in Russia) isn't cleaning up in elections.

Communism is both unobtainable in society at large and undesirable.

I assume- if that statistic is true- because he saved them from the Nazis and bombarded his people with 29 years' worth of propaganda.

Simon Cowell of the RR wrote:I still do not understand why communism is so popular.

Communism is so popular because of having a classless state. Most of the people who are workers and being oppressed by the rich people want an equal rights, cause some people can be bought by money. Karl Marx dream of an equal society where there is no rich or poor but people with the same states. Technically, it can happen, but its just Stalin who changed the dream of an classless state into a hideous ideology which people consider a threat and full of scumbags.

Yes, I am. If Stalin really is that popular, Yedinaja Rossija shouldn't have such a grip on power.
