A year and a half ago, when I started getting pubic hair, I tried shaving it.

Biiiiiiiiiiiig mistake. Now, at 15, I just trim it. It keeps it clean and makes me look even bigger, hahaha.

As for the OP's topic: I prefer trimmed pubic hair. I like body hair on my men.

I take a razor and run it over the pubic hair with enough force to trim the hair but not actually shave it down completely. It's right down to the skin but not stubbly or shaven.

Personally, i do not mind hair, all though certain acts of affection are easier when you don't have a hair triggering your gag reflex by coming into contact with your uvula.

As far as legs go? Im not going to freak out if i feel stubble, in fact, most girls Ive dated are more concerned about their hair than I. But what about men shaving their faces? Same boat, trying to look prepubescent and all. If you had to choose, would you live in a hairy or hairless world?

I think face-shaving makes sense for younger men or adolescents who cannot grow beards, but I don't understand why people would voluntarily shave every goddamn day. I only do because of territorial-army regulations, which make sense in their context.

I don't see why shaving anything should be a prerequisite for being a woman, or a man for that matter. If you don't want to shave your (insert body part here), then don't. It's your body. If your partner disagrees, then they just don't get to touch said body part. Seems pretty simple.
On another note, I'm wondering why all of a sudden shaved vulvas are the 'norm'. Is it suddenly okay to find prepubescent physiques sexy? I am a woman, not a little girl, so of course I'm going to have pubic hair. That women are supposed to have hairless genitals hints strongly of pedophilia to me.

Skin is naturally smooth, clean, and smells and feels good. Hair is rough, attracts dirt and other foreign substances more easily, and feels rough. It's not about a fetish for prepubescence with me, and I imagine the same applies to many others who have shared similar views. Smoothness is more appealing than roughness to a great many people in a great number of circumstances (not just skin/hair).

Personally, I just hate body hair in general. I think it's gross, dirty, and prickly. I prefer both the women and men that I date to be clean shaven. For the record, I'm male, and I shave my pubes, legs, and chest. Pits are trimmed short.

The difference being that women don't (generally) have facial hair, so stubble against our bare skin hurts. Both sexes have pubic hair, which reduces friction. Hair against hair = less friction. Hair against skin = more friction. If you want me to shave and you don't want to, you're pretty much telling me that it's okay for my crotch to ITCH and BURN as long as you get off. Which will definitely get you off... of me, and out the door.

It also happens to be reality, just like your comment about the itching and burning. If you want us to accept reality, you have to as well. If you want to say that men are being pathetic if they react to pubic hair in their mouths, then maybe you're being pathetic with your complaints.

Unfortunately, this is one of those issues in which it is impossible to get a win-win result. In one case, men might appreciate it if women shave themselves down there, and women might appreciate it if they don't have to shave. There's no way to satisfy two people who have those problems. I think the best thing is simply to declare incompatible interests and leave it at that, instead of making accusations.
