Where from reddit do they come from, though? Neither Google nor Reddit's own search function turned anything up - I couldn't find any popular post that links here and the Nationstates subreddit seems pretty inactive.

There was a thread about lesser known sites that got to front page. One of the more popular comments contained a link to NationSatates. However that comment has since been removed and the user deleted, so I imagine it'll be difficult to find

As both an Imgurian and a Redditor (and a faithful NS P2TMer of course) it annoys me that I saw nothing on either in time, though I did just finish 32 hours of intermittent flight with no time for internet so that's probably why. Please post the stuff that got to FP if you find it, anybody.

Are you certain the influx is more from Reddit than Imgur? Could be...just seems hard to believe.

The Imgur post had over 200K views, 13K points, was at one point the 2nd most viral post on the site for the day, and it was directly about NS.

The Reddit thing wasn't a post directly about NS, just a comment within a post--only the 19th top comment with about 700 karma. Plus it was deleted at some point during the influx just a few hours after it was posted.
