This whole week, I've been thinking it's a day later than it is.

Today is not Saturday.
Today is not Saturday.
Today is not Saturday.

Yes, this is one of those weird times when I am less than civilized, enjoy it.

Knew this girl in the service, had a heart shaped ass, generous hips, slender waist, solid "C" breasts, and a face like a god damn muppet.

You wonder how the Charisma roll got that badly blown.

Ew, having to work from noon until 5:15PM tomorrow, a Saturday, what sin?

Welcome to Purgatory, enjoy your stay. Ask permission for toilet breaks.

May I?

Sadly, I have to wait until Saturday for my equivalent of Friday. i.e. My "weekend" consists of Sunday and Monday.

This is the hide from other opinions on the matter because you might be ripped to shreds in the relevant thread and too lazy for blog go to, though.

Spent seven hours working on the sliders in character creation, only to realize when you save that you forgot to change the face from Birdo.

Sad, I don't know what it is with kids these days, when I was a boy we played with the girls.

I don't get it, either. In the five years between finishing up secondary school education and becoming a teacher there must have been some cataclysmic social upheaval, I was teaching in a mixed sex school and yet the the boys and girls avoided even acknowledging the opposite sex's existence whenever possible.

That is what happens when you hypercomplicate the traditional learning process regarding social interactions, and then throw in the technological capability to escape reality to another section of existence where gender doesn't matter at all.

At all? Gender is the be all end all online. But I get your point. Unfortunately I left the system before Tinder caught on. I'm sure the teenage courting system is even more jarringly fascinating to observe as an outsider these days.

Twas dating, for my group.

There were a few girls I hung out consistently, but when they started dating and breaking up with friends through high school, it became awkward to do anything in mixed-gender groups - there'd generally be at least one ex-couple, with the emotional maturity of foie gras between them.

Hyperbole for hyperbole's sake. The internet is increasingly becoming segregated as the technological learning curve allows anyone and everyone to join up somewhere and institute rules and regulations that favor them and their friends. But for a long time, and when I was observing the dating rituals of those a generation behind, that was how it was.

Back in my day everyone was sleeping with everybody, but that's catholic education for you. Wasn't much awkwardness but that was just our group mentality I suppose.

At least everything calms the hell down drama wise in uni.

That's not different from my experience except most people were kinda scared of having sex if they had plans to go to college because almost everyone who was fucking inevitably was a teen pregnancy after some period of time.

So most of my group was like "nah, we're cool."

Yeah - well, mostly. I still know plenty of people who would go for the throat given half a chance - uni just means I have the freedom to schedule things like board game nights to make up for avoiding the parties with said ex-couples. A close friend and his bestie fell out over a girl couple weeks ago, and by all accounts they're not looking at ever being in the same room again.

Which is a shame, because that's a verbal bitchfest I'd buy tickets to.

Not helping dissuade the creepy IT guy trope at all at all, there ;D

Aye, there were one or two pregnancies by final years despite the healthy condom black market going on underneath the noses of the nuns.

My group did long-term relationships for the most part, and a lot of the girls, I'm told, were generally fine taking things slow. The guys were of a different opinion, which inevitably led to more drama - we had it all, the hypocrite conservative, the braggart who took credit for the ex's next relationship.

Heh, there's a reason that tropes exist. Much like stereotypes, there is enough of a grain of truth there to continue the narrative. It doesn't help that IT folks are usually massively introverted in person, and their social standing in their field depends on knowing how to work with a machine that doesn't have feelings, emotions, or dreams. Thankfully the field is diversifying somewhat, again as the technological learning curve shallows out some. Before I left for my current job, there was even a pair of young ladies who actually looked at other people's shoes in public.

I never had any relationships, despite almost every girl from school telling me years later they'd have fucked me if I'd have been more forward about it.

So many missed chances. *cries*

I know someone exactly like that. In fact, I legitimately saw a girl tell him "I would fuck you" and saw the point fly about three meters above his head, lodging itself neatly in the bow of a nearby tree.

But his only relationship during his time in high school was the cause of like a solid year's worth of the worst drama in my year level, so I think it was for the best.

But would I have been told that I'd not have wasted any chances.

That's why you don't have relationships. You have "buddies" ;D
