I'm not a big fan of the twerking myself...not after watching Miley Cyrus do it on Robin Thicke...erm...but I mean, I also don't think it should amount to a fine. And the bow and arrow is not offensive either (unless, of course, it's aimed at the other team's flag, then it might be a bit much)...so I'm in the middle. I'm just a fan, I want my football, and I'm tired of seeing penalties for things that don't need to be penalized while NFL players who have been accused of domestic violence are ignored and allowed to play and do whatever. >.<

And that's where the majority probably lies.

Fans who don't mind someone playing with joy, instead of someone like Cam Newton who does it just to get under people's skin. The celebrations shouldn't be taunting, and taunting should be pretty clear when it happens.

Shoving, throwing a ball at someone, getting in their face, these are all taunting acts. Dance in the end zone? Jump like the Fun Bunch? Drop to your knee and pray with the ball in your hand? These are all momentary celebrations of an achievement in your chosen vocation.

When I got my first paper published, I damn near fell out of my chair from celebrating and I was in a class full of kids. Humans should be allowed to feel and demonstrate joy, as long as it doesn't involve your crotch and a dude's face.

It's Roger Goodell we're talking about. It could literally be anything from a fine to 10 weeks. There's no consistent pattern to try to follow.

And on that note, DeAngelo Williams is calling Goodell out on his handling of Vontaze Burfict. This guy has accrued $800,000 in fines in a relatively short career, and you're not going to suspend him for his behavior against New England? After all the talking he has done about player safety? Hypocrisy at its finest. Any bets on how long it takes Goodell to invent a reason to fine Williams?

I wonder if Goodell will fine DeAngelo Williams even more now that he called the Commish out? Regardless, it's ridiculous.

I don't see the point of a NY-LA game in London, seeing the games played abroad is increasingly irritating to me. Goodell is destroying the game.

I don't mind, I just wish they would be good matchups every now and then. Usually it's either teams nobody cares about or slaughters. If they had something like a Steelers-Patriots game in London, a marquee matchup, that would do wonders. Both have huge canvases outside of the states, but NOOOOO. Goodell wants to expand, but doesn't want to actually take the risks necessary for expansion to work. -_______-

I don't want it to work. Pats-Steelers should only ever be played in a) Foxboro or b) Pittsburgh and not anywhere else. If they shift the Jaguars to London they might shift them to the AFC East and realign everything putting us in a division where we are required to go to London. We're the NE Patriots not the Atlantic Patriots or whatever nonsense Goodell thinks he can get away with. Yes part of my motivation to oppose this international series BS is my loathing of Goodell (which clouds my judgment, I admit ;) ).

And yes I am aware that Bob Kraft is on record being in favor of the London Jaguars or whatever.

Oh I'm not saying I'm entirely on board with it either. I'm simply saying Goodell is not focusing his efforts where he should, to make it work. Then again, that may be a good thing.

The series has been expanded this year and will be expanded again next year, before you know it all teams will play a "home" game somewhere other than "home". If that happens I hope ratings drop to as close as zero as possible.

Goodell should be fired before then. It's his fault the ratings are down. Also, is there anyway to stop a commercial from happening after every big play? It's hardly like this in college football.

Bradford, it's not appropriate to get your first interception in the season on a drive where the defense gift wrapped you 7 points.

Welcome to the 2016 season once again, New Jersey Green Beans!

From Ge-NO to Ge-YES back to Ge-NO. Welcome back Fitzpicktrick.

I'm conflicted on this game, on one hand I wish the Green Beans nothing but misery piled on more misery, on the other hand they are really a deplorable franchise and it must be frustrating for their fans. In 56 years they have still won our division fewer times than the Colts and as many times as the Oilers.

Pats 19 titles
Dolphins 13
Bills 10
Colts 6
Oilers 4
Green Beans 4

They're also the only one on the list to have never won the AFC championship. It must be stated however that the Oilers one only one AFC championship, but not after their move to the AFC central and rebranding as the Tennessee Titans.
