Diantre and Palsambleu, two French words that are synonymous to "damn" but just way more smart-sounding.
Citoyen Français. Bonapartiste Républicain (aka De Gaule's Gaullisme) with Keynesian leanings on economics. Latin Christian.

Too many to count. They're opted out for borrowed and foreign words. Old English was so rich with so many native synonyms, and now its reduced to this... Romance-Germanic mongrel. It's sad, really.
