I admit it. There are three things on which I am overtly, aggressively political - the sports teams I support, the unforgiveable corruption of the petit-bourgeoisie, and my love and adoration for both lab-grown and underappreciated natural gemstones (like opal, which obv. no-one has ever heard of /s). I'm not big on gold settings, but that at least has practical value, and I do find gold quite attractive.

Onyx and tanzanite are gorgeous, though, and I assume Dami had the sense to find a diamond with a nice fire and brilliance to it. Never been one for pink diamond or other fancy tints - I eat curries for kick, I wear suits for power, I look at diamonds for clarity.
