A friend was playing this thing called "Nationstates". 2006 Galla was intrigued. She put a euro into the computer slot, created a nation which to this very day the name eludes her.

She answered an issue, got bored and forgot about the site until she stumbled upon a link on MySpace three years later. Such fun.

IIRC, it was the eastern seaboard of the United States.

My first was Malsitar, back when I was 11 - I let it CTE after a few months, though, and didn't come back until 2011 as Eugepae, and then this nation came along a few months later. I originally used Malsitar as my main when I was on General, but eventually I switched over to Astrolinium because I was roleplaying with it more and got tired of switching back and forth just because I wanted to post in WHYLT or The Gay Thread It's a Gay Life.

Actually, Kannap has never been based in or around the RL Kannapolis/Metrolina area. For the longest time it was based in Northern Europe.

I finally, after four years, made a map of Kannap where it is on an island in an alternate universe from the real world, but I think I lost that ages ago.

Yeah, I used to post in a lot of threads. I've mostly limited myself to about 6 or 7 now. And back when TET tended to blow through a couple pages a minute, I mostly lurked. I still can't keep up when TET gets moving too fast.

I used to have to post on an old Sony PSP. Typing And keeping up on TET was difficult as hell until I became blazingly fast typing on that thing. It still took an ungodly amount of time to load webpages, and I couldn't load them all the way because the post and quote buttons would be hidden if I did. I'd have to half load it and hit the cancel button.

Sometimes the entire page loaded, sometimes it didn't.
