She has definitely moved towards the left on economics if this speech is any indication of where the Democratic platform is going. Also, the rip roaring introduction by Elizabeth Warren was just scintillating.

The looks Clinton gave Warren during her intro were very quite approving, possibly even telling of intentions. HRC then started her speech with a five - seven minute rave about Elizabeth's service.

The crowd was as animated and enthusiastic as any crowd I have seen for Hillary this entire election cycle. Clinton-Warren sure looked like the blockbuster sort of winning ticket I have envisioned it to be.

Because Bernie's politics is more class-based and social democrat - for example, supporting heavy taxes to fund government programs and opposing things like soda taxes. San Francisco is more middle/upper-middle class liberalism that is more social issues than class based. I think wealthy liberals supported Hillary for obvious reasons.

Considering the talk of Warren as VP, and the recent reports that she was on the short list of people being vetted, this is a pretty strong indication of Clinton's leanings, I think.

It may be a sort of "trial run" to see how she and Warren work together and how the public responds to them campaigning together. If its gone well, Warren will likely be VP.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it, the polls (as meaningless as they are this far out) aren't nearly as bad as everyone would have you believe. That recent one where Clinton lead by 12 points shrunk to only 2 points when Johnson was included.

Plus it might just be me but over the past few days it seems like Trump's overall demeanor has changed.

The fuck you smoking? Her lead shrank by two points when Johnson and Stein are included. I suspect Stein won't break 1% and Johnson won't break five anyway.

He's slightly less acerbic than usual, but he was like this back in March.

I think this is a lot more realistic than the NBC poll with Johnson at 10% and Stein at 6%. 3% usually puts a third party on track for less than 1% and 7% puts one on track for a 3-5%.

This would be true of any Republican. Numbers might slightly change here and there due to appeal to different demographic groups (e.g. Utah vs Penn would look different) but overall you'll see a very similar result.
