It will isolate them more because the children in these schools will all be minorities. There will be no children with christian or atheist backgrounds in these schools. It will certainly isolate muslim population even more in Sweden.

But I can imagine them having rights that certain other religions do not have. The right to practice unsedated ritual slaughter for instance -which in many European countries is allowed if it is done according to the Islamic rite, but not when done according to e.g. Hindu rites.

So.. what is the quality of "Islamic schools" like in countries around the world ?

In the Netherlands it is horrible. All the Islamic highschools that existed have by now been closed because the level of education did not meet the minimum set standard and the schoolboards stole the money for themselves - and the last remaining one was the origin of the biggest exam fraud in Dutch history . The existing Islamic university offers subpar courses; and its chairman has repeatedly and openly made highly offensive comments on the rightness of killing gays, jews and kurds for which the government is currently considering suing him.

The primary schools sofar are the only level surviving - but they all rank at the bottom of the charts.

Is this typical ?

Are they like Urban City schools in the US? Poor, bad neighborhood and such.
