And you can get all of that by paying only an order of magnitude more than the vehicle you compared them to.

Seriously, it's more than a bit ridiculous. When I checked out Corvettes, I found the interior snug yet comfortable. It doesn't have to be super luxurious, a comfortable seat is just dandy when it comes to a sports car—beyond that, I couldn't care less about the luxury appointments.

Another story of a car:
In 1978, Daryl Johnson, a 28-year-old guy from southern LA living off barely-legal/illegal stock market operations, bought a Porsche 924 in lime green. He had put it on black Fuchs alloys and installed a cassette player/recorder to play his favourite country songs and record mixtapes off the radio. For the first 2 years, he kept it in a rented garage. In 1979, he had a collision that damaged the driver's door. He drove with a dent for 10 months, saving up to fix it. In 1980, he moved to a small West Hollywood apartment with a parking space. But in 1981, he got arrested for stock market scams. The Porsche got reposessed and sold on an auction to...

Do you know any fun car fact?

I can tell this one:
The first Ford Mondeo (Contour stateside) was designed to be able to house a variety of engines, from a transverse I4 to a longitudinal V8.

Waaayy late reply (I don't frequent this thread much), but "cheap" is still too expensive for us to buy. Unless you live in a densely populated urban area with every place you want to go is within walking distance of public transportation and you have time to spare (public transportation is usually slow because of frequent stops and you have to wait for it) a car is usually needed.

He could, but it is not going to go many places. He will still need a car. Public transportation only reaches a few places and is slow. Unless you live in a place like London or NYC. And he does not.

There is a bus stop in the nearest large town to me (10 miles away) of 4,000 people (the two small towns 3 miles away in opposite directions do not have bus service). The bus only comes once in the morning and comes back once in the evening, weekdays only. Said bus goes to the nearest city 30 miles away. This is what rural America is like Petrolheadia, public transport is simply not practical.

I simply expressed before that I'm proposing it in Corrian's "current situation" - he is poor and doesn't care too much about cars, but her parents are rich and like cars. To me, what she said was a bit ignorant - if she looked at our previous conversation, she would see that I did not propose it for shits and giggles, but because Corrian has problems with affording to own a car.
