However if you ever go on Facebook you can see that shaming also extends to Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush, etc...
It's internet politics.I don't think it has much impact on the real facts.

Considering the recession, I think it's safe to say that just because people are willing to put money into something doesn't mean they have any good reason for doing so.

The use of the word implying was the joke, which while not terribly funny, was not the point. The point was that people with large amounts of money have the propensity for not having much sense, just as much as normal people, albeit with significantly greater consequence.

Also considering the recession, that has absolutely no bearing whatsoever. Fact of the matter is Donald Trump is a business-savvy guy who worked his way up for his fortune. Now whether I think he would make a good President or not is an entirely different matter (which I don't, for the record) but the man has business skills unlike anyone else in these forums. That is the sole reason why people trust him with their money, so if you have superior skills than he does when it comes to business management... show me the proof and show the money... if not, shut it.

I haven't gone bankrupt. But then again I never claimed to be business-savvy myself.

Do I have to be a dancer myself to point out if someone sucks at dancing? Do I have to be an architect to point out if someone's buildings are ugly or the roofs leak? Saying "Well, their buildings got built! When did anyone ever build a building that you designed?" doesn't suddenly make that leaky roof a brilliant design feature.

And the recession is perfectly relevant because it illustrates that a lot of people who handle large amounts of money don't do it well. You used the fact people trusted Trump with their money as evidence of his business-savvy, but that assumes the people making the investment actually knew what they were doing. You have no proof that they knew what they were doing, and I think multiple bankruptcies are pretty good evidence that Trump doesn't know what he's doing.

It's very unlikely.

As people drop out of the race, their followers will be forced to choose a 2nd choice. Trump is the sort of candidate where people either love him or hate him, so he's not going to be a 2nd choice for very many people. This will allow more moderate candidates to pull ahead in the polls as the field narrows and they pick up votes from people who chose them as a 2nd choice.
