Should the Burka and the like be banned.

The title explains it all. Should the burka and the likes of it be banned in public places like goverment buildings,banks,hospitals. I ask this because the things present an issue in security and Women's rights. so what does NSG think.

You can hide weapons under pretty much anything. I've got a concealed carry license and I've had no problem hiding guns and knives and the like under my clothes, and I don't wear burkas.

There is no need for a tie, but most jobs want you to wear one. Instead of society telling you what is appropriate to wear, it is the religion. Also, if you are scared that the entire outfit can be used to hide a gun, then you should be scared of everyone wearing pants, shirts, underwear, etc. All of these can be used to hide guns and knives and stuff like that.

Allah is literally the Arabic word for "the god" or God. It is what Arabian Christians call God in their language, in addition to what Muslims call God.

As for the Burka, I don't see why it should be banned. If a muslim woman wants to dress modestly and with traditional clothes, what's the problem? It doesn't pose any security threats, and in the West, women can'f legally be forced to wear burkas.

They're symbols of the Islamic Faith. Therefore by banning them, it's taking away the Freedom of Religion in basically every western nation's charter. That's like countries banning the cross, those funny Jewish hats or swag beards. It's putrid and disgusting if you do such a thing to someone. They may not like it (if they don't, they always find alternative things to wear like the Hijab), even then, it's none of your damn business to interfere in a religion you don't understand. I don't butt my nose into Hinduism, Buddhism or Orthodoxy and yell at them that their religious symbols should be banned.
