Hope I don't sound picky or anything.

Minimal criteria:

- Female
- Not overweight/obese (can have some extra fat, just not so much that it's unhealthy)
- Loving, caring
- Doesn't smoke
- Isn't alcoholic
- Kind/respectful
- Doesn't do drugs
- Compatible

Extras:

- Brunette (though blonde and black hair is also alright)
- Nice physique
- Romantic
- Likes music/good taste in music (according to me)
- Cultured

Can't really thin of anything else right now. The extras are optional, but preferred. I'm fine with any eye colour (though I generally tend to like brown eyes more), any skin colour (though I generally tend to like light skin/fair skin or tanned skin more), and any hair colour other than red hair (sorry!) and blue/green/pink/etc. hair (though in some cases, it can look nice).

For me, my biggest factors when I was dating were the following:

1) Have a brain, I wasn't looking for a rocket scientist/brain surgeon. At the end of the day however, I prefer company I can have an intelligent conversation with. If they're knowledgeable about games, even better.

2) Have a good sense of humor. This was an absolute must for me. I'm a comedian at heart (maybe not at career but..), so whats the point in being with someone that doesn't/can't appreciate that part of me?

Aside from that? I live by a simple philosophy:

Thick; thin; small; tall? Love 'm all.

I never had a problem with it. Some people consider this a design flaw.

It was a joke about the Monitor riding low in the water, not being very seaworthy, and eventually sinking as a result.

But nothing wrong with being on the bottom in general.

Maybe it's just me, but I give it more than a passing thought when one is jammed into me somewhere.

People make fun of the "you're a 'good size'" compliment, but it's a real thing. Small may be easy and 'comfortable' but also not exciting. Big may be exciting but hard to bear. There's actually a lot to be said for "average".

Well, I can find any number of women attractive should they have a personality I like. But, looking at the women I've been involved with they've usually been smallish (but not sticks by any means) brunettes, often nerdy and sometimes shy. Not that I don't find allure in either redheads or blondes.

It still seems to me that there is something backwards about trying to reduce people to a collection of characteristics when you're talking about romantic partners. Especially physical characteristics. There haven't been many commonalities in the different people I've been romantically interested in, and I really can't see any of them held a deeper affection from me.
