I've actually had a professional genetic test done. Largely European, but there's of course the 0.2% African base to all of Homo Sapiens, as well as 1.9% East Asian and Native American. The 97.7% European is spread all over the place, including people from all across Europe (North, South, and Eastern) as well as Ashkenazi Jewish. It's pretty fascinating information to have available.

Sure, if "pretty diverse" means that more than two thirds of the users come from a demographic that comprises about 10% of the global population.

It is diverse.

Diverse means varied. It doesn't mean dark-skinned. The fact the majority of NS is white does not mean it is not diverse. There are posters from many different countries, and the people who are not white represent several different ethnic minorities. Although it offends my 19th century sensibilities to discuss such things, there are also a variety of sexual orientations and gender identities. I suppose I should not judge them too harshly when my own gender depends on the language you are posting in. I am female in English, male in German, und so weiter...
