I'm continuing a Christmas story I started two and a half years ago, at 24 December 2012 :D And it's even one with romantic elements.

What record are you talking about?

The World Cup (football) - due to the number of nations signing up, there is a qualification period, followed by the 32 team finals.
I've just signed up for my 24th time (72nd edition to be hosted) - in the previous 23, I have only qualified once. I am currently on a streak of 16 successive non-qualifications...

Mixture of bad luck, and not Roleplaying (more RPs and better RPs you do, more likely you'll win a match). Doesn't help that for the edition after my only finals appearance, I was away on holiday and unable to RP, and my high rank (scores are determined on three aspects - rank, randomness and RP) from it went to waste.
