I would probably also have a personal pistol with you just incase they somehow manage to kill your guards. Quickly shooting yourself will be no where near as unpleasant as what the rebels would do to you.

You forgot the part where the revolutionaries aren't willing to negotiate with you and will likely shoot you on sight.

Also make sure to give food to your people. Just have a good economy, enough jobs and enough food and your people will settle down

But the revolutionaries are a threat to the regime and your supporters want the regime in place. Technically, you are a threat to the regime and you where never the original dictator anyway so I see a scenario where you die anyway

All that would accomplish is making everything worst for yourself. As the Revolutionaries want the regime gone and aren't going to just let the one person who now personifies said regime live. While all attempting to kill off your old regime followers would do is turn what little support you had against you.

Obviously I'd have my guards open fire. I mean, let's think about this- these revolutionaries are prepared to shoot everyone in the palace. Forget about my miserable life, potentially hundreds of innocent, unarmed servants could be killed just because they took a job at the dictator's palace to try and feed their kids. How is that fair? What sort of leader would I be if I let people who had faithfully served me and my predecessor, and were counting on me for protection, be mowed down in cold blood so that I could save the lives of a bloodthirsty lynch mob?

Once reinforcements had arrived, I would suppress the rebellion brutally and rule with an iron fist, making myself the focus of the nation's hatred, while simultaneously organising a fake counter-insurgency with my most loyal agent as its mysterious and charismatic leader. I would then organise my own staged assassination in broad daylight, observed by a huge crowd of my people. With the evil dictator seemingly dead, the country would rejoice and rally around my alleged killer, while my younger sister (who I would drag around in chains a bit before hand so no one thought we were on the same side) would succeed me as Empress and constitutional monarch.

Alternatively, there's the Aerys Targaryen solution; blow up the entire capital and be reborn as a dragon. Sounds kinda fun.
