Why do people hear voices in their head?

We all hear your voices, Its easy just try it yourself. Except what about you hearing many voices telling you to do things or not to. Those kind of people hearing other voices are usually imagined as crazy.

This is a topic still largely unexplained by science. There are many theories and one is that our inner voice is a way be process external speech and make predictions. Yet that doesn't explain thoughts with voices seperate from our own invading. Still this is a accomplishment by the brain, our greatest ally and enemy.


My question for you ns. What do you think the voices are in our head? What is your theory?

I theorize that they are remnants of thoughts our brain can't seem to organize. Then we attribute them to some outside force the same way a kid has a imaginary friend only they hear.

Obviously has something to do with your third eye.

Now, I don't hear the voices you speak of...the only voice I hear is some strange voice I can't really describe because you can't hear it per say, but I'm pretty sure that's what thoughts sound like. So I don't know...only times I ever heard voices I didn't know where inside dreams or sometimes during the middle of the night when I couldn't fall asleep.
