I am a Free Will Baptists Christian. Well, Free Will Baptist is the closest to my personal beliefs. Basically I believe the Bible is 100% true (just because something is figurative, doesn't mean it's not true), and that it is a closer walk than a lot of people think, but at the same time I believe science is man understanding how God works, so it is also 100% true, and that God is more forgiving than a lot of people think.

I also believe that we aren't supposed to force our beliefs on others (though debates and brief explaining is all good, just don't be a jerk about it) and that everyone has a right to be happy on Earth. For some, it's the closest to Heaven that they will get, may as well let them enjoy themselves.
You can call me Aster. Yes, I did revive this nation... Again...

If you aren't hurting anyone, putting anyone in danger, or infringing on the rights of others, it isn't the governments business what you do.

So, when you say you're an agnostic Roman Catholic, do you mean you're still searching? I'm confused. I mean, it's cool that you're considering the Catholic Church (as I Catholic myself, I say the Church is quite the beautiful and wonderful faith.) I'm just curious.

No, I am not searching. I think that the way has been under construction for a long time

But seriously, I've said that already on the previous page.

I'll citate it again here for you:

In any case, I specify: an agnostic Roman Catholic is someone that believes that there may be or may not be a God, but that if He is there, it then would be like the God mentioned in Roman Catholicism.

Thus, if you're an agnostic [insert religion], you believe that there may be a higher or magical power or not, but that if that power exists, you think it is the way that it is in the [insert religion].

That is what I am. To not offend God if He is in existance, but mainly because I respect the good in the universe and the traditions of my grandparets and elders, I go to church every Christmas, marriage and funeral. But aside from that, I don't have pretty much to bother with religion, nor with atheism.

Ah. I didn't see your last citation. Sorry.

That's interesting! I've never met someone who's put those two terms together like that, before, so I was just curious. :)

I think you unaware of just what's involved in the Confirmation ceremonies among the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, then. Upon confirmation, and with every daily prayer, adherents absolutely affirm their belonging to the faith.

Roman Catholic. As far as my beliefs go, the Nicean Creed or Apsotles Creed cover it, without going into some knee high theology.
" O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? "-1 Cor. 15:55
"A man who governs his passions is master of the world." -St. Dominic
"Silence is more profitable than speech, for it has been said, 'The words of wise men are heard, even in quiet." -St. Basil the Great
"Ponder the fact that God has made you a gardener, to root out vice and plant virtue" -St. Catherine of Siena
"Hatred is not a creative force. Love alone creates. Suffering will not prevail over us, it will only melt us down and strengthen us" -St. Maximilian Kolbe
"Seul l'amour donne du prix aux choses. L'unique nécessaire, c'est que l'amour soit si ardent que rien n'empêche d'aimer." -Ste. Thérèse d'Avila

If they are talking in the modern sense of the word.

Although, I have to wonder is Hellenistic Judaism even that noticeable?
