Your nation's position during WW2?

Let's say our nations are all real, and were around at the time of the second world war... What stance would your nation have taken? Would you get involved? Who would you support? What do you think other countries would have tried to do to you?

Well, this one doesn't belong in F7 I'd say, since it is asking you about your nation instead of about the above nation.

If my nation was real during WW2 That war would have only lasted a year. I would just invade Germany after that crap they pulled in Poland, bomb Berlin, burn the city, kill hitler, then incorporate the German nation into the Aydeanian empire.

I would help the allies, but be smart and wait till the axis mess up and attack. I'll probely take out Italy before going after Germany.

My grandfather was part of the resistance to the occupation himself here in Norway.

Canonically Tinell was invaded and occupied by Nazi forces starting in 1940, but after a bloody struggle of three years, they were pushed back out and immediately chased back to their homeland in a bloody fit of vengeance.

The Empire of Allied Connurist States remained neutral and thanks to a joint effort of diplomacy and espionage, built up an army of the best war machines each side could offer. The ACS has not enjoyed technological dominance since 1946 though....

World War II did happen in my nation's continuity. Zelaya declared war on the Axis Powers immediately after the attack on Pearl Harbor, but did not participate in the fighting. It did, however, allow the U.S. to station troops in the country.

We declared war on Japan on September 28, 1940, a day after Germany, Japan, and Italy signed the Tripartite Pact. Previously, we had condemned the actions of Adolf Hitler and Hirohito, but when they formed the Tripartite Pact (Axis Alliance) it had become evident that they were a major threat to world peace which must be dealt with as soon as possible.

We would not have entered the war as part of either alliance. The only likeley involment we would have is if small states offred us something (primaraly becoming well treated vassal states) in exchange for protection or if any citezen of Ilselen was killed or hurt.

Ilselen is not overly fond of democracys spread but it does also not recognise absolute rulers if they are not monarchs by blood. Additionally the misdeeds of the axis rulers mean that if forced to choose a side we would definitley oppose them. However in the first world war we may well have joined with germany and her allies.
