Because everything bad that's ever happened was because of religion.

Try harder or not at all.
What ideological stance? What conspiracy do you imagine me to be part of?
Yes, it is like a pocket knife. It's about the same size. Pocket knives are harmless, anyways.

And those walnut rifle stocks are HEAVY. You could beat someone to death with that.
Not an issue, if we let admin know why we're bringing it in.
Similarly, I sometimes totally forget I have a 4" utility/Stanley dual-bladed knife in my bag. No one cares about that, it stays in the bag, I have no trouble with it, neither does anyone else.

you'd be spoiled rotten and not have any appreciation for the sacrifices your father made for you and your family...

I see no issue with it period, as long as it stays away. I wouldn't care whether it could be drawn or not, or whether it were sharp or not. However, if it gets flashed around, it's an issue.

Regarding zero-tolerance policies for weapons, why do kids get padlocks for their lockers? Why do they get books weighing several pounds? Why do they get desks? A crafty person could garrote someone with the padlock, stab them with the book, and papercut them with the desk. (you know what i mean)

In fact you can legally buy an RPG-7. They're rare as shit, and you need to live in a state where you can get a Form 4 DD stamp. Then get dummy warheads with live propellant charges and rockets, (or get live warheads with the DD stamp, and shell out $200 per shot), and you now have a legal RPG-7.
Edit: But I digress.

Zero tolerance policies in schools are almost always a bad thing.Tyrinth wrote:That's impossible as long as rules are "zero tolerance." Wait, where do you live that you can get a legal RPG-7?

Exactly man. It's about as dangerous as the Japanese katana key-chain I bought at Disney World. I'd be pretty pissed if they kicked me out of school over such a thing.
