Mounties are advising civilains in downtown area to stay away from Rooftops and windows due to ongoing incident.

I think from the footage I'm seeing on Aljazerra, 1 attacker has been shot, possibly in a government builidng

The guy who ran down two Canadian soldiers was convert to islam. I am willing to bet that muslims are responsible for this attack. ISIS has convinced muslims across the world to commit acts of terrorism against countries that oppose ISIS. The Canadian parliament just voted to join the US led coalition against ISIS, so this is probably a reprisal for that.
