...this is a relevant post, right?

No because the entire point of the test is to group people into mainstream American politics.

It isn't supposed to be super accurate and nuanced.

My result is "Solid Liberal"
Generally affluent and highly educated, most Solid Liberals strongly support the social safety net and take very liberal positions on virtually all issues. Most say they always vote Democratic and are unflagging supporters of Barack Obama. Overall, Solid Liberals are very optimistic about the nation’s future and are the most likely to say that America’s success is linked to its ability to change, rather than its reliance on long-standing principles. On foreign policy, Solid Liberals overwhelmingly believe that good diplomacy – rather than military strength – is the best way to ensure peace. Compare groups on key issues.

Ugh, just being called a liberal makes me want to puke.

What makes you think that communism/socialism is anywhere close to being part of mainstream American politics?

Obviously it isn't going to place you as anything left of liberals.

Apparently, I am a steadfast conservative. This is interesting to me, due to the fact that I am an immigrant (I did it the proper way) from the former Soviet Union. I found myself agreeing with many of the more conservative standpoints, which I never thought I would.

Apparently, I'm a solid liberal. The test was a bit simplistic, and often asked questions that should've had more responses. Regardless, I'm content with the results.

I asked the rest of my family to take it too.

My dad: Business Conservative
My mom: Steadfast Conservative
My sister: Young Outsider
All four of my grandparents: Steadfast Conservative
My aunt: Steadfast Conservative
