2014 Poster Awards

Just when you think the popularity contests are done, one last one comes back to bite you. Last year's OP is gone, so I've decided to do this myself. The tittle explains the gist of this. Now go, read along and vote.

Voting in the Debating and Posting Categories: You will choose three individuals and list them in order of preference.

Nominations are open and remember you can nominate anybody, even yourself. You have until October 25th at noon EST to vote.

Good luck and let the self-promotion begin!

The 2013 Posters Awards for Excellency in the Fields of General Debating and Posting.

Award for Excellence in the Field of Debating
Bestowed upon posters who display an uncommon level of skill and professionalism. They do not resort to merely using rhetoric and prove their points without pulling emotional chords. These posters command deep respect among their peers.

Award for Excellence in Posting
Bestowed upon posters held in high esteem by their friends and fellow Generalites. Their posts are highly anticipated. Their posts/threads amuse, enlighten, inform, inspire and make you want to participate.

Drunk Commies Deleted Award for Lifetime Achievement
This is the poster whom you believe has earned your respect and is amongst the most honorable of posters. If they were to leave, their presence would be greatly missed. In memory of Drunk Commies.

Zooke Memorial Goodwill Award
The Zooke Memorial Award for High Charity and overall Kindness. So often in the hustle and bustle of the forums we become easily enraged and forget that this is only a game. Zooke helped keep us friendly and never said an offensive word to anyone. This is in memory of her. May she never be forgotten.

KYC (keeping your cool) Award
Award for keeping your cool despite being piled on by loads of posters in a debate and in the face of much vitriol or hostility

literally only euroslavia deserves something for good moderation. the rest of the awards are just, as you'll probably admit, ego massaging that shouldn't really exist and remind me of being on sonic forums when i was 12.

Dunno, I think Anarcho-Capitalism an extremely abhorrent belief system, but I always found that Sibirsky in most instances conducted himself well when it came to debating such issues, but I never really debated with him personally so I'll refrain from saying anything else on it.
