Alas, technology and screen size are two different things, when a mobile phone screen essentially just handled calls or SMS then the trend went small.. or at least effectively handheld.. smartphones are basically screens for a whole load of information and content. The technology inside is getting smaller but not the screen outside.

Apple is a terrible company with terrible overpriced products that are inferior in terms of both hardware and software to the vastly superior Android phones from HTC, Google, and Xiaomi

Smartwatches in their current state are in their infancy, and Apple would probably fail in making a profitable product, whilst the iPhone 6 is really a smaller iPad Mini with an A8 Processor and phone capabilities.

Well they're doing a goddamn awful job at it.

That said, I think that the iPhone 6 looks awful (especially the gold one) and, like iOS 7, iOS 8 is just blatant stealing UI features from Android and WP and calling it a new product.

I'll stick with my Nokia Lumia 1520, thank you very much.
