I live in Eastern Oregon, which is beautiful desert and agricultural lands. The people here are a mix, mostly Republicans with a few Democrats and Greens here and there. As soon as my wife finishes up her Associates, we'll be heading further west to Eugene or Corvallis.

Sounds nice. Typically whenever I hear Oregon, people refer to Portland.

I am a little irked... I called to look at a duplex and, the woman is from India and we had a miscommunication and I thought she said she would be available at 4:00 and told me to go by and look at the outside, so I just called her and she was like "Why didn't you just call me when you were there?"

I have no problem with the language barrier, but... please be understanding when someone says they don't completely understand the directions you are giving them.

that is what we are taught, but apparently horror shows have the same effect. i have to write up a very bad trip report dashing the hopes and dreams of the entire power division of transit. my boss is gonna be pissed.

I find the jam rather sickly, and far too sweet. American donuts just taste nicer overall. The pastry especially. If that's what you call the stuff.
