Indeed. A repeated issue I have with those who become aware of my romantic proclivities involving M2F.

Heh, why does everyone always assume that "they" would hit on them? It's what straight guys use as an excuse to feel creeped out by gay guys, as if they were the... well, actually, if you do look like Viggo Mortensen or any other hot male actor, you might be in trouble... And I'm sure someone can think up the female equivalent of that.

So, after checking a report, I've been reading through here. And all you seem to have to offer in this thread is snark and spite. How about you take a break from it, and go do something worthwhile. Because baiting any group of people on the forums, regardless of which group it might be, does not fall under that heading. In fact, this is the sort of thing that will get you into trouble with the moderation team. And heaven knows, no one wants that. Unofficial warning put on record. Lets hope it stays at that.
Everyone else - lets keep on topic, because if y'all can't, one can only assume the topic has run its course and needs to be quietly closed. Thanks.

It's funny how guys are creeped out when other people do the same thing that those guys do to them.

For the record, I find that most LBGT people handle rejection pretty well. They know that statistics aren't always on their side in terms of potential romantic partners, and will very quickly back-off if they seem to be making the other person in any way uncomfortable.
I haven't been hit on any transgender people to my knowledge, but I have been hit on by a fair number of gay men (used to go to a gay bar a lot, great burgers), and saying "sorry, not gay, just here for the food" was about pretty damn effective. Some of them obviously didn't believe me, but nobody kept pushing. Except for two guys who tried to hook me up with a female friend, which was not unwelcome.
So I don't get why people are so freaked out. Unless their afraid that they might suddenly get overwhelmed by confusing feelings and end up crying in the bathroom of a hotel room somewhere while a burly voice outside asks "honey, are you okay?"

Yeah, honestly I think it's mostly just homo/transphobia.

From a purely outside rational view and my perspective as a man...yeah, it's nice to have a penis, but women are so much more aesthetically pleasing, not just because I am attracted to them ( ) as a pan male, but idk, it's easier to be male in this sexist world, not to mention, you don't have to shave as much for people who find it icky. Not to mention, no periods.

Except people are so transphobic that any social advantages you might gain by being male will get wiped out by being trans...
Periods are pretty annoying, though. Especially if you get TSS.

Because the alternative is to live as a woman, suffer from periods and being frowned at for not shaving your armpits, and most of all being so unhappy and disgusted with your body and its biology that you're just as likely to slit your wrists as tolerate yet another day of it. Do note that the only reason I have decided that the suicidal ideation belongs into the days past, is that I have decided to try to apply for the transformation process. If I truly was "doomed" to live as woman the rest of my life, I'd be looking at another 40+ unhappy years, and thus suicide would definitely look like the better option.
Would you like being unhappy the rest of your life? The Orson Empire wrote:I honestly don't care. Transgender people aren't harming anyone, so let them do as they wish.

I don't want the transition process because of any social advantages - I'm perfectly aware that it will bring more problems, nor will it wipe away any of the problems I now have, except the one where my own body disgusts me to the point of me not wanting to live with it until the natural end of my days.

So, I came out to my cousin this weekend, and this was pretty much exactly what she kept wondering for half the time we spoke. Like, she couldn't wrap her head around why people are queerphobic (a term I find shorter than saying "homophobic and transphobic"), and I must say, I love when anybody has that attitude.
