The act of impossing PC on people is what causes censorship. How is this hard to follow?

For one, you can't "impose" PC. You can recommend it but that's really as far as things get taken.
For two, political correctness does not involve stopping people from talking, so it's not censorship.

You're finding this hard to follow because you're confused about one of both of the terms "censorship" and "political correctness".

Here's the problem. You're assuming we're "imposing" PC on someone, when "imposing" PC is usually more along the lines of, "Please stop. That word or phrase offends me."

I don't get people insisting on calling people things that they know offend them. If I'm informed that calling someone [slur] offends them, it costs me nothing to avoid using that slur.

No one is arguing for the use of slurs, we just don't want to be told what we can or cannot say even if we wouldn't say it anyways.

Once again, use the correct modal verb.
