I've never had Chicago deep dish, but I've salivated while watching the Travel Channel. I think that could be the best thing ever.
As I said, Pizza Hut soaks their crusts in oil, which is probably why it makes me sick.Infected Mushroom wrote:United States of Natan wrote:Actually, that sounds pretty good. i'd eat it.
What I will never eat again is pizza hut. its not just that it is disgusting and unhealthy, it literally makes me sick. the two times I ate it (both at two different places halfway across the country), I felt like I was going to vomit, like when I eat Asian food (no offence to asian people, I have nothing against you, it is just that a lot of your food does not agree with my stomach, and makes me feel sick).
I dislike Pizza Hut's crust, its too oily. The toppings are also not the best.
I prefer the Domino model.

I think I went either there or Gino's when I visited Chicago. either way, it was a deep dish place. personally, I am not a fan of deep dish. too hard to eat, too large, too cheesy, and too much other stuff. I prefer my NYC thin crust pizza, thank you very much. Of course, I do live in the NYC metro (NYC metropolitan Area), so thats not a surprise.

I could drag Tsar in for a neutral opinion? When he was visiting the States, I dragged him to the aforementioned Masa for Chicago style, and I believe Kat took him to one of her local places for New York style. If I recall right, there was much gushing from our Kiwi mod over US food.
