Communism as a philosophical disease

In the 1950's, during the Red Scare in America, many 'specialists' branded communism as a disease. Of course, we're going to ignore what they said because it was just political propaganda. But philosophically and biologically speaking, could they be correct?

One of the tenets of communism is that all humans are equal, but that's biologically and factually incorrect. We could say otherwise: humans are inherently unequal. Some are smarter, some are richer, that's the way it is and it's always been. Since communism ignores these basic principles, I choose to brand it as "philosophical disease", a disorder of philosophical structure. After all, aren't philosophers supposed supposed to use logic and scientific facts to build their ideologies? The only way to 'cure' communism is through education of the masses. It's the only way to eradicate this illogical ideology that was responsible for the deaths of literally milions of people from earth.

Do you agree with me? Why/Why not? In your opinion, how do we cure communism?

i literally choked on air when i saw this thread

communism, in it's ideal, treats all people as equals, and works to establish a system in which the people govern themselves collectively. It fails because people are greedy in their nature.

the idea of communism, IMO, is great.

No, no it doesn't. It says all people should be economically and socially equal.

A communist society is a stateless society where the workers collectively own the means of production (economic equality) and devoid of hierarchy (social equality).

1. Stalinism is not Communism.
Communism, by definition, is a stateless, classless, moneyless society in which the means of production is controlled and ran by the workers.
2. Communism did not kill anyone.
Marxist-Leninists and the other authoritarian brands did all the killing. But, even at that, the numbers are incredibly over done. Millions upon millions were not murdered.
3. Communists do not view everyone as complete equals.
Communists believe everyone should be treated as equals, actually.
4. Your entire claim is a logical fallacy

No, it isn't. They're equal under the law of a Communist state after such a state is accomplished.

They are equal in that they have equal access to benefits, to state aid, but up to and including whatever work they contribute toward the state. If you are destructive to the state, you are making others inferior to you, therefore you violate the rights of others to express their power, influence, and interests in the state. If you are not part of that state, you may be unequal if the state is not adequate, which if it isn't a Communist state, it probably is.

See, I actually read, not just the Manifesto, but other works by Communists that expand upon the Manifesto.

Have you read Das Kapital? How about the Conquest of Bread? Anything by Trotsky or Lenin?

You define all your views of communism off one book. Marxism is not all of communist ideals.

No, but I've read the Communist Manifest, Marx's magnum opus. All the other books that followed were based on it.
