Christians seeing that they have lost their foothold and power in the west are going to Africa to convert the unwashed masses. Food and money in exchange for their immortal soul and all that encompasses. Lobbying their government to make certain rulings I am sure would be quite easy for the big businesses that are local and national churches.

Africans are mostly Christian and Muslim and FYI, in the region Uganda is in, it is mostly Christian

My point stands, when they go to serve their "missions" its to enforce their version of Christianity.

I still would like to know why the US sent people to fight for rights the US doesn't even have?

I am the Federal Republic of Roski. I have a population slightly over 256 million with a GDP of 13.92-14.25 trillion. My gross domestic product increases each year between .4%-.1.4%. I have a military with 4.58 million total people, with 1.58 million of those active. My defense spending is 598.5 billion, or 4.2% of my Gross Domestic Product.

Fair enough

Why are we sanctioning them then?

"The United States has issued aid, police, travel, and military sanctions against Uganda in response to its Anti-Homosexuality Act (AHA), which President Obama has criticized as being contrary to human rights. The Act was signed into law on February 24, 2014. It imposes a life sentence for certain homosexual conduct and criminalizes the “promotion,” “aiding” and “abetting” of homosexuality; it does not include a previously proposed measure that would have criminalized individuals’ failure to report AHA violations.

The only thing Ughanda is doing against gays that we aren't is killing them.
Let's have the rights before we go bomb other countries for it, ok?

because they are jailing people, basically for being gay, and because of restrictions on freedom of speech. basically, persecuation and institutional discrimination against a minority.

Not really, your posts say that the homosexuals in the US dont have rights just like Uganda. I am pointing out the massive flaw in your argument.

Does looking at the horrific, bloody, endlessly violent handiwork of exclusively white-run empires (and their hegemonic successors in the US and USSR) get your rocks off?
Or are you just overly confident in your ignorance?

No, which is why I didn't make one there. Thanks for letting me clear that up.

Neither did Europeans. Thus, we can conclude that whiteys are all barbaric and uncivilized by the "they're violent" standard.
Unless you'd like to retroactively put in some dubiously logical and almost-certainly racist exceptions?
