Human languages, since they have nothing to do with genetic traits, are not connected to biological evolution. Biological evolution acts upon genetic traits.

So this YEC guy is arguing against evolution even when he doesn't have to, because the topic is unrelated? Funny. :)

yeah, and Genesis 11 only defines the split groups among languages, not species of humanoids. This guy's such a toolbag...

Oh...that sound glorious. Nice and devout bishops right from the get go. Th only problem I could see is in making the Bishop seem more faraway than they already do.

(I know that I'm pretty afraid when I have to hold things for Bishop Stika whenever he drops by.)

Interestingly enough, when my bishop came to my church for Holy Unction, I was asked to carry his bags to his car and then he gave me 5 bucks. :p

Also, as far as I see, the bishop doesn't seem far away, at least in the Orthodox Church.

Well, I was the altar boy so...and I was carrying his Crosier...and occasionally his Mitre...but, hey I enjoy it when I serve, so it was fine.

It's funny that they believe the Earth was creates in 6, 24 hour periods, when the very objects that determine a day as 24 hours, weren't made till day 4.

This is the problem with fundamentalism, and why it is false.

It's not just false, but the fundamentalists are heretics for believing the day's length wasn't set on the first.

I think they were referring to the website. Roman Catholic nations (e.g. Mexico and much of Latin America) have limited access to computers in many areas because they are considered third world, whereas many protestant nations (or protestant majority) have greater access to wifi because they are more in the first world.

Both here and in RL, Catholics are the majority.

In China, however, there's been a growing number of independent churches, with an indefinite number of Christians living in hiding from the communist government.

My math suggests Catholics are a plurality and not a majority unless all in the other category are not Christians.

While less than half of them are Catholics, they have the most members among the denominations down here.

Often, allowing the church to interfere with politics is a bad idea, as can be seen from events like the Inquisition. Better to leave the church on its own and let it perform its function than to give it a place in government and reduce it to nothing but a tool in seizing power.

Therefore, I feel that secularism at a national level is actually beneficial to the church, as it prevents the church from becoming corrupted.

I agree; the idea behind secularism is good, but usually the implementation is terrible, and just ends up oppressing the religious.

There is no name, however I can say that the Hail Mary is a traditional prayer which comes from various verses in Luke.
