Well, I thing she caught more blame than she should have here. Sure, Obamacare is a mess, but maybe we should look around and see who's really to blame for that.

As long as they get someone who's well qualified for the position to replace her, not much else matters really.

In the particular instance of whether the website would be up and running in time, she's to blame for that.

Quite honestly the Republicans.

I think Obama is a tad to quick to have his subordinates fall on their sword.

It's a sad day when we consider pregnancy, the gift of life, a "harmful medical condition."

Umm... even if it is a fact of life it can kill you.

Ever heard of ectopic pregnancies?

She shares the same failing as Obama; she relies on help that the party faithful assume is reliable, and it is not at all reliable.

H. Clinton will faces the same traps, which is why the Dems need fresh blood.

Hey, while we're at it, let's fold the bloated ineffective Dept of Ed back into HEW.

Tad too slow if you ask me. Administrative excellence is hardly going to be the hallmark of his presidency.

Then again, as long as Eric Holder is in office the ceiling will hold. If he has to go under the bus, there will be some serious internal friction.

If the Republicans ever get their way, all records of a 44th President will be erased from American history.

This^. It isn't any more of a mess than the implementation of any large program or service, public or private.

... I'm afraid I don't understand how the AHA was a mess...

They met their deadline, apparently.

The only thing that didn't work was the website, and they fixed it, more or less.

Other than the fact it's not socialized medicine healthcare, I don't understand how it was a disaster. The fact it's not socialized medicine isn't Obama's or his administration's fault.

A large part of blame falls to congress and the states. The law as passed envisioned between 1 and 6 states failing to make exchanges. But for the Republicans in congress when 2/3s of the states opted not to make exchanges, there would have been more money allocated to the exchange.

I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner. There was universal acknowledgement that the Obamacare rollout was mismanaged, which alone justifies Sebelius's replacement. This is a good day for Republicans and Democrats alike.
