LGBT in Catholic High Schools Discussion

You may not have to follow the new or old testament, but as long as you are in a catholic high school, you may find yourself subject to follow certain codes of conducts. Advocating their core doctrines as 'fairytales' and you may find yourself alienated for completely different reasons than your sexuality.

Are you fucking kidding me? All people should have a right to say whatever they want and express their sexuality however they want. No question!

While I personally think the Catholic Church is sadly mistaken on this issue, as long as you choose to attend a school run by any private organization, that organization has a certain right to compel behavior on their property which they think is correct. Even in a public school, there are some limits as to what one can say; do you think that someone should have the right to claim that all blacks are sub-human and should be shot on sight in a high school?

Actually, it was confirmed long ago that blacks are just whites with a different skin tone. Gays are attracted to someone of the same gender, and that goes far beyond a petty issue regarding the amount of melanin in a person's skin. So blacks and gays are completely different civil rights wise. Seriously, stop comparing gays to blacks. Gays haven't gone through half of the things blacks have gone through, so you can never compare the two.

I was not in any way comparing the two groups, only using an extreme example as to why the viewpoint that anyone can say whatever they want in a school is mistaken. Change blacks to Jews and the point is just as valid.
