hell is a greek influenced Christian concept of a place of eternal torment boredom.

Hades was (mostly*) a boring place were souls could only have conversations with each other. Elysium was pretty much like Christian (Catholic) heaven and a "heroes only" place.
*There was a small special place for torment but it was rather insignificant.

Destruction, of course, can't be eternal, because if it is, it's not destruction.

Also the Bible continously refers to heaven as 'everlasting life' (see verses above), while hell is called 'death' and 'perishing'.

Darfur happens to be part of a democratizing republic in south Sudan (compared to the North Sudan who are a bunch of slave mongering war whores). At least there they fought against the genocidal regime who employed militias to cleanse the regions christian, sufi muslim, and animist populace for the sake of resources. Saudi Arabia is a stagnant theocratic regime reliant on foreign lust for oil and geopolitical privilege (ergo it won't change).
