We all need a little help from our friends, and today, the Seahawks got that help from their friends the referees. Two giant blown calls lead to 12 Seahawks points.

I hate to say it, because Manning is a legend, but Denver may be better off moving forward with Brock Osweiler, whether Peyton is healthy or not.

Well well well. Without Gronk plus Edelman and Amendola, Mr. Brady couldn't get it done. Guess he is starting to feel a little like Joe Flacco, at least minus the ligament strains. It is hard to have much of a passing game with a depleted receiving corp. I guess "the deflategate curse" has finally gotten around to the Pats too. I knew it would as much as some of their fans have shot off their mouths on the internet, although not so much here on NSG lately. Hate to see great players going down to injury, but that's all I have seen with my team all year. No quarter is given to the Ravens either. I hope Gronk is going to be okay, but it sure didn't look very good.

Osweiler looked great. If Thomas had been able to catch half the balls thrown his way, this game would never have gotten to overtime. Despite that the Broncos pulled it out and I must say I will be rooting for Brock from here on. He may be on his way writing a great story for himself. To Peyton Manning, good riddance. You're done.

I'm on the Raven's side. You got the Saints, buddy. I can't root for NE, Pitt, GB, DAL and Indy right now. Once upon a time I did for each of those teams. Maybe I will again in the future, but not right now. I still like the Seahawks best of teams other than the Ravens. They did me proud today taking out Pittsburgh.

If Gronk's out for the season I'm done. With everything. This season has hit a last nerve.

Actually, no, it hit that when I found-out Pierre Thomas joined the 49ers. My soul started crying when that happened. :(

Oregon Ducks beat OSU in an outstanding Civil War game. Seahawks topped the Steelers to stay in the Wild Card hunt (thanks also to the NFC Least). And my beloved Edmonton Eskimos are the CFL champions of the 103rd Grey Cup.

Pretty damned good weekend, in my books! 8)

Well, that's good. LSU won this weekend, at least, and we got to keep Les Miles. But Jimmy Graham AND Gronk are tore up. Soooooo...UGH!!!

It's hard to disrespect a division that sucks as much as the NFC East this year.

It happens. Looks like we'll have Gronk back soon. Hopefully Amendola and Edelman for the playoffs.

Couple of tricky road games to go, @Texans, @Miami and @ NYJ.
But Denver and Cincy also still have to play eachother.

Pats can clinch the division next week. :)
