To make a point of how little this matters. I actually don't like the idea of youtube getting political. Even though I agree with them on this particular issue, I don't think this is a good path for them to go down necessarily.

I don't really. I think this is a non-issue, but if I had to give my opinion, which you seem really interested in, I'd say that I don't think getting political like this is a good idea. They had no need to do this.

So when google supports gay marriage it is the best thing ever, yet when chick fil a comes out against gay marriage it's homophobia and Dan Cathy is a bigot. Two companies give there opinions on an issue. Why when you guys agree is it okay but when you disagree it's the end of the world? Is not one of the morals the gay movement is trying to elaborate is that we should accept everyone? These posts show must of the people here are no better than the " homophobic bigots" YouTube is attempting to change the hearts of. Just saying.

Google has always been a progressive company, at least in my opinion, so I can't say I am too surprised that they showing support for gay marriage. I must admit it makes me happy, though.

Yeah, I am glad SCOTUS made the ruling they did but I can see your point, there is a double standard. However, I think that in a heated debate such as this one both sides always demonize each other, and it is only destructive and counter-productive.
