This would painfully increase civil right hippies in the street and make Independence Day rated G. The idea of a game like with the words Maddening '14 would be cool though.

It will be good for the American economy, businesses selling food will go up etc, you can even sell merchandise. The Asians will love it.

How fun would it be to take a friend to a MURDERER ONE-ON-ONE. This would be outlawed quickly ,of course.

Why do you "know" that isn''t going to happen? There's enough to say that that will happen.

Changing the laws is an extremely arduous process. When I say it won't happen, I mean it won't happen any time soon.

Furthermore, I must argue that capital punishment is not useless. The man who put that kid up to the Beltway shootings absolutely deserved to die.

I wouldn't call it defeatist so much as...I don't want this change. I agree one hundred percent with the death penalty, but on the other hand, I also agree with not incarcerating minor drug offenders. I was hoping to find a middle ground, but that isn't much of a possibility here.
