Police: A few bad apples should not judge an entire force that is found across the nation that is meant to protect the public from criminal scum. I support them and find that they do their job well.

Prostitution: Legalized and regulate it (and possibly nationalize it).
Racism: It's not something that I think will be changing anytime soon despite how hard we try, but oppose. Best way to curb racism though is through education.
Redistribution of wealth: Against the entire concept of it.
Separation of church and state: Support.
Taxation: Either a low flat tax or a very low progressive tax, a low corporate/business tax and a low tariffs.
Unions: I generally have a negative view on unions.
Universal health care: I'll support it for the elderly and the youth, but no one else.

Abortion: Should be legal through the first trimester for any reason, into the second for serious defects or complications.
Affirmative Action: Opposed; it's forcing us to discriminate in its own way.
Authoritarianism: It has its time and place.
Conscription: Only in dire emergencies such as in-progress invasion by a large hostile power.
Copyright law: Moderately support; I oppose outright piracy, but I also believe that representations of copyrighted characters (e.g) for personal use with no profit should be legal provided credit is given to the copyrigth holder.
Corporate personhood: A terrible idea that should never have become an issue in the first place.
Death penalty: Death comes to all, good and evil alike, so there is no real 'penalty'. Therefore, opposed.
Democracy: Only as good as its leaders are honest and its voters are educated. It could be much better.
Drug legalization: Alcohol, marijuana and tobacco are okay I guess. Anything 'harder', opposed.

Taxation: I support a 'flat' tax rate; you get more money from rich people no matter what, and nobody can honestly claim to be treated unfairly.

Universal health care: A noble idea in theory, but now is not the time to try to put such a theory into practice.
Welfare: We should have a system in place that provides the truly needy with just enough to survive, but anything more than that (say, having 6 kids after going on welfare just so you can stay on) is self-defeating and detrimental to society.

Abortion: I am supportive of a woman's right to an abortion per the original ruling of Roe v. Wade.
Affirmative Action: I am generally supportive of idea of affirmative action.
Authoritarianism: The government should have the ability to enforce laws and protect the rights of citizens. Equally, though, the people should hold the government responsible for actions they do/do not agree with and react accordingly.
Conscription: I strongly oppose and disagree with conscription.
Copyright Law: If a person's business and livelihood is seriously being negatively affected then copyright laws should be strictly enforced. Whining millionaire singers and billion-dollar companies do not qualify.
Corporate Personhood: Corporations are not and never will be people.
Death Penalty: I support the death penalty for certain cases. Serial killers and mass murders should be the only people who qualify for the death penalty.
Democracy: I prefer a Republic, rule of law, to a true democracy, rule of the majority. However, I am a strong supporter of a representative democracy.
Drug Legalization: I believe marijuana, and other harmless drugs, should be legalized and the marijuana industry be regulated by the government. Harmful drugs, though, should remain illegal.
Economic Ideology: I am in favor of a mixed economy that leans toward Socialist policies/ideology..
Evolution/Creationism: Creationism, and it's ilk, is a myth and not true. Evolution is the only explanation for the development of life on Earth.
Feminism: Women should be treated equally with men. Special rights for women, or men, is unacceptable.
Free Speech: I am a strong supporter of one's right to free and uninhibited speech. However, this right does have it's limits. Incitement of violence or calling for violence is one of those caveats that should be strictly prohibited or at least strongly disapproved of by the government and society.
Gay Marriage: I support full marriage equality. No one, whether hetero-, bi-, homo-, or transexual should be denied by the government the ability to get married.
Global Warming: I believe that the Earth's climate is changing much more rapidly than ever before because of human activity.
Gun Control: I believe that gun sales and manufacturing should be a closely watched and a closely regulated business. Background checks should definitely be mandatory for any person wanting to buy a gun. Whether or not they are buying from a private citizen or a private company.
Immigration (Legal): Immigrants seeking to become American citizens should have an easier time of it. It's the only way to decrease illegal immigration.
Immigration (Illegal): While I do think that adult illegal immigrants should not be given full rights guaranteed to Americans their children are an entirely different issue.
Imperialism/Militarism: American imperialism, especially post-1945, has ruined its worldwide reputation and has created a lot of enemies that otherwise would not be there. I believe future foreign policy should be focused on diplomacy and not war making.
Internet Censorship: The government should keep its hands out of the Internet and stop attempting to regulate it via bills like SOPA or PIPA.
Israel/Palestine: I believe that the Palestinians should have their own sovereign state and that Israel should also have it's own sovereign state.
LGBTQ Equal Rights: I believe that anyone who is gay, bisexual, transexual, and/or queer should be given the same rights as heterosexuals are granted.
Police: I believe that Police Departments need to do more to prevent cases of police brutality and to rid it's conscience of racial profiling.
Pornography: Legalize all forms of consensual pornography. Bestiality, incest, and pedophilic pornography are not included.
Prostitution: I am torn between legalizing and regulating prostitution and just keeping it illegal.
Racism: Citizens of any country should work to rid themselves of racism and its various forms.
Redistribution of Wealth:
Separation of Church and State: As defined in the First Amendment I believe that religion and the government should always be separate. I do have my sympathies with the concept of Laïcité, though.
Taxation: I believe that the wealthy should be taxed higher than the middle class.
Unions: I believe that union membership should be encouraged within any industry, but not mandatory.
Universal Health Care: I support the full implementation Universal Health Care system in the United States.
Welfare: I believe that welfare programs should be strictly watched by the government and only be available to persons or families living below the poverty line.
Worker's Rights: Worker's should have the right to collectively bargain with business owners and management. The government should also be partially responsible for protecting the working class from being taken advantage of by corporations and the wealthy.
Youth Rights: The youth of the United States should have the same rights as any adult citizen in the United States.
